The Aerospace Medical Department (AMD) managed by Dr. Fabio Flenda MD, MSc provides aerospace medicine and human factors services such as flight physicals and AME consulting services for pilots and aircrews.
Our mission is to ensure flight crew health and to improve pilot performance, especially for crews employed on fast jets and high performance aircrafts.
Aerospace is a challenging environment for healthy humans who act as flight crews or operational duty personnel (including military or civilian), requiring a professional and specialized medical approach. We provide aeromedical and human factors research in hypobaric, High Gs and microgravity, aero medical training, health consulting and medical treatment for flight personnel and recreational pilots, offering services to aeronautical companies and institutions. Our professional qualification is similar to flight surgeon level, who also serve as rated aircrew, having flying experience, public health officials, occupational medicine liaisons, medical duty officers and human factors experts.
